A marathongig – yes that’s what you easily can call our gig at “Pusterummet in Vamdrup (Denmark)” this past saturday. Music from shortly after 7 pm and all the way to 5 am the next morning. Yes, we actually worked that many hours. The local club in this bar/restaurant had their yearly Christmas Party and they got some suitable “easy listening music” during the dinner. Ulf played instrumental and Weng sang several songs, and in between the musicians had a couple of breaks in order to enjoy the good food. Without food and something to drink, well.. as you know, things won’t go good…

After a few hours the bar was opened for everyone (it was private for the local club during the dinner) and pretty soon the place was full of people. The sound from the music raised quickly to a level with real power. Even if the place isn’t very big, the guests still wanted music with real power, and they surely got just that.

It’s funny how the hours just fly away when it is a great gig, and this evening was no exception. Even if we got tired, and also felt that the voice was on hard work, it was a really great evening. A small place, and absolutely not a lot of space, but very friendly and kind guests, and a great staff, and such a good time.

Thanks to all positive and happy guests, and to the very kind staff (incl. Calle). We’ll happily be back again soon!

A very nice evening with 400 guests to a Christmas Party. Good mood from the start and together with good food and good music, well it can only turn into a great evening. That also became the case. Already during the dinner the atmosphere was on top. People toasted, talked and sang along on the musicians well chosen songs. Ulf played as usual a very suitable mix of songs and Weng had several vocal numbers (which always give warming and spontaneous applauses) during the dinner. Soren from Skaerbaek Fritidscenter lead people through the impressive Christmas Buffet so everything went smooth.

After a couple of hours with good food and music which built up a great atmosphere where the guests (together with the musicians) like said, got a super atmosphere it was time for dancing. Here started our friends from “Blue Night” to play for an hour, and then we played one hour each until 2 am. However, it turned out that we should have stopped at 1:30 am, but… ooppsss, we thought it was 2 am. So the guests surely got full value for money (and some extra).

The last 15 minutes we played together with the other band, so people got a 7-man band the last quarter. Guess if there was full power on…

All in all, a great evening with happy guests, a happy host and happy musicians.
